Shubham Chhabra, director of "Cash Cows" and winner of the @KDocsFF Best Emerging Filmmaker Residency Prize, tells us about the creative process behind his film. Shubham explains that the inspiration came from his and his friends' experiences of moving to Vancouver in 2016, blending elements of humor and tragedy. His goal was to craft an engaging and entertaining film that subtly conveys a message. The script developed naturally from real events, with assistance from writers like @mynameiskails and other friends to organize the narrative effectively.
Interview conducted by @frayne_ian, and filmed and edited by Rashi Sethi.

We had the privilege of participating in a panel with some incredibly talented filmmakers and disability advocates at the opening of the 10th annual @KDocsFF@KwantlenU — both films were beautiful, moving and, as someone put it, “left the mess in the frame”
Started as an attempt to engage students beyond the classroom, @KDocsFF celebrates its 10th annual festival today. Metro Vancouver's Premier Social Justice Film Festival runs from Wednesday to Saturday at the @VIFFest Centre.
