Today is #BellLetsTalk Day! Every year, Bell donates 5¢ to Canadian mental health initiatives for every retweet. Last year, we had 25K retweets. Let’s beat that!
As a man it can feel controversial to feel you need help. Fuck that. Reaching out & going to therapy for my life’s major stressors has been one of the best decisions of my life. Never feel as if ‘being a man’ means you are impenetrable, we are all in this together #BellLetsTalk
Hey Westcoast! It's getting a little late out east, so we're passing the torch west! Help us push across the finish line, we're counting on you! #BellLetsTalk
Did you hear?! We’ve surpassed 25 million texts, calls, tweets using #BellLetsTalk, views of our official Bell Let’s Talk day video on social media, and uses of our Bell Let’s Talk Facebook frame and Snapchat filter. Thank you to everyone for your outstanding efforts.
In 2018, a good friend had a major mental health crisis. Some pals couldn't handle it, abandoned + blocked him.
Today many tweet #BellLetsTalk. Some gain comfort in typing "end the stigma."
When it gets rough, just be there. Getting them professional help beats our "advice."
It’s raw, and it’s real. My Mom first attempted suicide when she had her first nervous breakdown, she was 19. She had me when she was 25.
Thank God she got the professional help that she needed.
If you need help, don’t be afraid talk to someone. #BellLetsTalk
It’s the 10th year of #BellLetsTalk and, while we’ve come a long way from where the conversation on mental health started, there’s still more work to do to end stigma & make sure Canadians can get the support they need. So let’s keep talking, Canada!
I have spent much of the off-season helping a friend who would rather not be here, so I cannot overstate the importance of #BellLetsTalk Mental illness is a relentless monster. Please don’t suffer in silence.
