Here’s some good news that I’ve been sitting on till it was a sure thing, a short story of mine called “The Beast of Ladencroft” has been published in Corner Bar Magazine! You can check it out here: https://t.co/uklnnya0Dm
Probably the most disgusted I’ve been with my fellow Latinos in a minute. The desperation for proximity to whiteness and to be seen as “One of the good ones” will never get you anywhere close to it. They’ll turn on you as soon as they can.
I literally put this in my drafts two nights ago and said “Eh I’ll drop this closer to the release of Season 2 if I remember” and today they cancelled the show. I will never get my wish for more High Republic Star Wars.
Just read the Mutant Massacre for the first time. I have read 11 years worth of X-Men and between this and the Nimrod fight to me this is the best the book has ever been. The way X Factor and NM tied into this event was brilliantly done. I wish more comic events felt this way.
Season 2 of My Adventures with Superman was great, but why did he have his grippers out for most of the finale? 🤨 I have questions for whoever made that decision on the animation team.
@KyloReece@QuirkOfArtXD I did a little reading on this character and she’s some girl that Bruce worked with briefly once then failed to save before he had any Robins but she came back and was like “I’m the first Robin and you ruined my life” or whatever
The Acolyte feels the most like cinematic Star Wars out of any of these Star Wars shows. The fight scenes this episode were incredible. The High Republic era is a good time for well written, interesting villains and bad time if you’re a Jedi because you’re probably going to die
Not to engage in Star Wars discourse but Luke got to be an idealist outside of the institution that was the Jedi Order. He got to follow the religion from a completely different standpoint than members of a government endorsed and affiliated power system.
