We just published the AI Operator Job Index.
The data surprised even me.
Companies are hiring for this role. They just don't know what to call it yet.
Which means there's still a window to get ahead of it.
Full report link in the comments.
"I've heard from CEOs of large tech companies that 22-year-olds used to come in and get predictably 30% better each year.
For the first time these CEOs have [now] observed that the younger people are outperforming the older people as programmers."
- Sam Altman
If your RAG project doesn't start this way, you're doing it wrong ...
(RAG = retrieval augmented generation, aka how to build a chatgpt over your own data)
Love seeing the "AI Ops" term starting to get traction in the market.
The next generation of businesses will be built and operated AI-first. Learning this new set of AI Ops skills is going to be essential.
We held off on creating courses for 6 months because we didn't want to teach theory.
We wanted to figure out what you need to learn to successfully drive business outcomes with AI.
In the meantime, @kdowns_22 and I built up a 100+ pages of resources and videos with use cases, education and tutorials.
And put all of that into our membership.
We've built up a community, while continuing to do consulting and advising calls, and have been relentlessly working to build our own business, AI-first.
And now that we're designing our first course, it's hitting me just how much that's paid off.
Our first cohort will be focused on Prompting for AI Operations, the practices, skills and projects required to build AI powered businesses.
Real, business-value driving prompting. Based on how we at AIX take the tasks and strategies of our business and translate them into scalable systems with prompts.
I'm incredibly excited about the quality of the course we're putting out. And I don't think we would have gotten here had we not spent the time and done the work we've done in the past 6 months.
Will be dropping the pre-sale soon.
If you want to get your team and company to start feeling AI-first. This prompting course is designed for you.

Members will get first dibs. But we plan to open up more cohorts soon.
we learned so much in our member workshop today with @zapier from their product leaders on AI + Interfaces
⚡️ brb, building lots of cool AI powered automations
Something non-obvious if you're not building in AI
GPT-4 consistently takes ~20s to give you a response when using the API
Most AI products aren't using the best AI models yet because the slowness basically make it unusable
The small launch before the bigger stuff 👇
We now officially have a home page.

I like to think of what we’re doing as “AI R&D for the public”
And made me so happy to hear that’s landing ☺️
AI will have a profound impact on what it means to create content.
