Mt. Shasta smashed their record high temperature for today, and it also became their warmest March day on record. More record breaking warmth is expected in our region through the rest of the workweek.
NEW INFORMATION: The Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office says the hazardous chemical spill in Dorris that prompted a shelter-in-place earlier Tuesday has been cleaned up. The shelter-in-place orders have been lifted and Highway 97 is back open tonight.

An atmospheric river will bring another round of moderate to heavy rainfall tonight through Tuesday. Winter impacts look minimal, but excessive rainfall is a concern. A FLOOD WATCH has been issued for Curry, Josephine, Jackson, and western Siskiyou Counties.

Hikers are now able to cross Ethel Creek on the Illinois River National Recreation Trail thanks to a new bridge that's been constructed. The old bridge was destroyed in the Flat Fire back in 2023.
