After experiencing both sides of the ball, I have concluded that I'd rather have a great offense and a crappy defense. With a great offense at least you are never out of it. With this offense, a five yard penalty on first down is almost certainly a future punt.
It was a nice thought. Ending the season with a couple wins. There's really no coming back in this situation. Can't stop the run. Can't stop the pass. Must drop back on every down and let'er rip.
@scottstaton30 Just a thought I had. He was a good Oline coach at Georgia. He'll have a good buy out. Doesn't seem like the kind of guy to care about the "status" part. Just a coach.
@Bdrumm_Rivals I really thought they had pulled it out with that scoop and score. But after all the turnovers and awful plays. The offense showed enough life to get that drive. Then the defense. ....the old defense from 2017 and 18 came out and played that drive. 3rd and 16. 3rd and 16 folks.
@MarkOU1 He had 5 for 43 yards. ...1 catch from the punter on a trick play for 43 yards and 4 catches for 0 the rest of the night. In his defense, his play callers are way out of their league.
@DT14OK@john9williams Don't get me wrong. He's a good player. He was in perfect position. Perfect throw, perfect position by Weese. Used his body. Textbook
