To me, if you're skilled enough to time your jumpshot right every time wide open you should make it every time. The issue with 26 was defense was god awful.
RNG is Back for 2K27 yall niggaz cried so much about it being easy when the numbers said otherwise ppl never took in consideration what mode the comp they were playing against and the cheaters now we really ain’t gonna have a chance against these ppl
The green window should be significantly smaller, but if you time it you should be able to green it. It’s that simple.
Make shooting a skill gap again.
The goal of my previous poll was just to gauge the community's expectations of the strength of badges compared to ratings. The percentages I threw out were completely arbitary and not a commentary on how shooting will look like in 2K27 at all. Let me ask another way.
"How much should Ratings matter vs Badges in shot success?"
@Beluba Make those ratings matter a lot more Mike. The higher speed with ball builds should naturally move faster. The higher ball handle builds should dribble faster. The higher pass builds should have more velocity. All while getting a solid boost from badges.
Anyone saying 61-70% is literally asking for 2K26 again
51-60% is the proper threshold imo.
Average players will shoot low 50s
Decent players will shoot mid 50s.
Great players will shoot closer to the 60s
Elite players will go above the threshold to 65-70%
Skill gap🤝
Respectfully, @Beluba, the first thing that needs to be addressed is Zens/Titans in #NBA2K27
If 2K can confirm these cheating methods have been patched, I genuinely believe it would give players much more confidence in the game and give 2K a better look overall.
It's crazy how 2k26 went from being one of the fun 2ks ever at launch to being pretty much impossible to score unless you just sprint to the basket and get a lucky animation
