He was my favorite running back. Campbell could flat out ruin your day if you were the defender trying to stop him. 36 inch upper legs. The only other running back in the NFL, at that time, who was comparable in leg size was Robert Newhouse of the Dallas Cowboys. He had 34 inch thighs.

I had a permanent port put in to drain the excessive ascites fluid one gets from liver disease that builds up in the abdomen last Thursday. One of the nurses that came out today to drain it has liver disease. It was nice to finally talk to someone who is going through the same type of disease.

The great thing about getting old and being ill is you can fall off, on and over anything. We have two small steps going from the drive to the front door. I stepped on the second step and immediately fell backwards. Hit the back of my head and fairly sure I either popped it out of place or tore some cartilage in my shoulder. They are coming by the house to do the x-ray in a few minutes. Just one thing after another.

Well, did something I didn’t expect to do for at least another 20 years at least. I’m on hospice now. I’m thankful I can now get pain meds without having to go to the doctor every other day. I also get a port put in next Thursday, so I don’t have to keep doing a 100 mile round trip twice a week. Anything for comfort at this point.

@ambereyes69 Well we knew they would spin it that direction. Unless some new revelation came out today, funny how the rifle believed to have been used would have been used for hunting. The rifle found was a bolt action. That’s not the best self defense weapon in the world.
