@allenf32 It’s one way of looking it at I guess but completely ignores the opps TT had to positively influence his players and the flow of the game
There is no doubt the players are culpable and it’s an issue that has afflicted ENG teams for 40 years+ but again TT should have had a plan
@henrywinter Wouldn’t have Owen anywhere near Rooney - different levels IMO
I also never forget Neville Southall’s reaction to Owen celebrating scoring past that young GK. ‘Well done he’s 13’ 😂
@DaleJohnsonESPN Most of the decisions in the Brighton v Villa game seemed bizarre
Ramsey - no penalty
Watkins foul in lead up to second goal
And a couple of others that seemed dubious
@TonyIncenzo Jamie Pollock against the mighty R’s. Completely avoidable and ultimately influential in their relegation that season. Spectacularly terrible!
@tomhwilliams23 For a 17 yo he did well for us, don’t recall him dominating any game but not surprising at his age. showed he has all the right attributes to succeed at NL possibly D2 level. Albeit a year older, Barbrook who we had on loan from Ipswich last season was at another level though
@prodnose He has many weaknesses but his teams win penalty shootouts, come from behind in tournaments, reached 3 semis in 4 tournaments. Even if we win his position is untenable but when we return to a mediocre tournament team with a clique ridden squad we’ll remember his spell fondly
@AtletiOliver @RishiSunak A gap year doing National Service??!! So delaying their Further Education or their ability earn £ in a full time money paying job. 🤯
@IanDarke No it wasn’t, take the law away and it will the attackers ‘art’ to stand in front of the goalkeeper and we all know certain managers that will push it to the edge. Ruling out the goal was the right decision by Law.
