We're trying to make better breakfast choices at the moment in orange 4, we swapped chocolate spread for Philadelphia and the kids loved it! It's only day 2 and they've responded so well to our new healthy tweaks to breakfast #semh#nurturebreakfast#sen#winning
This makes me happy. We do a lot of really great work at all our special schools. It's great that other parents in other parts of the country will have the same options/opprtunities as parents in Leeds 🥰
We're delighted to have been chosen by the DfE to run 3 new special schools - in Birmingham, North East Lincs & North Yorks. We're looking forward to delivering the highest quality #SEND provision and making a difference for three more communities...

Teaching is all about relationships.
We hear that a lot, and it’s always about the relationships with the children.
That’s true, but relationships between staff are just as important. They model healthy relationships for the children and are key to a good working environment.
@SteelCityHelps@jenhawk6248 This is my 5yo on Xmas day, admiring our new home - she'd asked to come see our new home and take photos with her new camera. This moment meant so much to me! I can feel the excitement of 2024 in this singular image 🥰
*Daily Tip* When you finish today - Leave the school bag at work! It will help you switch off. If this feels a bit extreme (and there won't be a potential data breach) leave it in the boot of the car! make sure it is out of sight to help you relax. #YouGotThis
75 days since the beginning of September. Its been a slog! Ive laughed, cried, had to change my plans with no notice, given hugs, given stern talking tos & built the most beautiful relationships with my kids. Orange 4 have come a long way this term #semh#primary#proud#progress
Decluttered my classroom today with my TAs. On day 74/75... it was stressful, I lost my temper -internally and cried... but tomorrow on day 75 I can come in feeling cleansed, spend time carefully taking down our class Xmas tree and enjoying our last day together as a class. #semh
*Daily Tip*
When the Christmas break comes it's a time to prioritise maintaining social connections that have suffered because of school workloads. Really focus on rebuilding links with people. It's these connections that help us maintain our well-being when times get tough.
Today was wonderful. We focused solely on having a calm and kind day. We did what suited our interests and all 10 kiddos left with 'full buckets'! Surviving Christmas week is tough in SEMH, we're definitely getting better at it. #year3#alwayslearning#semh#christmasweek
