Today, we Greens walked out of Question Time because of the Labor Government’s cowardly failure to call for a ceasefire, despite the war crimes being committed by the state of Israel.
Listen to all of what Bisan has to say - but especially the last one
Also: bookmark this, savvier folks than me know how to download. We need to preserve as much of Bisan’s words as possible

If anyone needed confirmation that Australia has truly lost it's way as a generous country, of peaceful people then this is it. @SenatorWong@AlboMP Showing the world what a sycophantic US foreign policy looks like.
First the Voice and now this. My father and his generation did not fight in WWII for our country to become like this. Absolute shame on us. #auspol

❤️SHE MATTERS: LILIE JAMES!❤️
This is 22-year-old sports coach Lilie James.
Yesterday, Lilie was murdered at her workplace – a school – in Sydney’s CBD. Today, cops are hunting for a male colleague whom they suspect ended her life.
Lilie is the 55th Australian woman killed this year.
At the time of writing, the alleged perpetrator had not been apprehended and there is a suggestion he may have killed himself.
In the wake of Lilie’s death, police have stressed there was no suggestion of a ‘relationship’ between them.
But here’s the rub. Lilie, like almost every other woman killed this year, knew her perpetrator.
Of the 55 women lost to violence in 2023, only four did not know their alleged killers.
The other victims - where an alleged perpetrator is known - had a prior connection to the accused – be it intimate or familial relationship, a friendship, workplace connection, a neighbour, housemate or other link.
There are two clear trends in femicides across our county – the gender of the accused killers and ‘the known to each other’ commonality.
In other words, women are almost always murdered by someone they know and the offender is almost always a male.
Today, please take time to mourn the loss of this young vibrant woman to violence and to think of her family, her friends, her colleagues and the young people whose lives Lilie touched during her career in education and sport.
RIP LILIE JAMES! ❤️

I document ALL unlawful deaths of women and children, regardless of perpetrator gender or relationship between the person killed and the accused. This means not every death is due to domestic and family violence. Australians are also killed by strangers, friends, colleagues, neighbours and other people known to them.

This is untrue. The constitution doesn't recognise anyone as "Australian"; it gives the Commonwealth parliament power to determine who is a citizen or an alien, which can be and is exercised discriminatively via legislation and ministerial discretion. It is silent on equality.
Was Hillary Clinton right all along when it comes to the Israel / Palestinian situation?
In this old clip, Hillary says:
"Remember, Israel left Gaza. They took out all the Israelis. They turned the keys over to the Palestinian people and what happened?
"Hamas took over Gaza, so instead of having a thriving economy with the kind of opportunities that the children of the Palestinians deserve, we have a terrorist haven that is getting more and more rockets shipped in from Iran and elsewhere”
I'd love to hear the Hamas defenders respond to this.
Israeli insane strikes continue very close to where thousands of civilians are taking refuge in a hospital UN schools.
Everyone is staying inside due to the flying debris and shrapnel
