ah and the coloring layer is dependent on the value of the silhouette layer I clip all the colors to. Adjusting that drastically changes everything which is why I've been aversive to making any adjustments most of the time.
I think my colors have gotten really predictable and boring. I really want to going back to this one method I did years ago to try to create something variable.
I think I might understand the problem. I use this coloring layer that makes it hard to select the hue I want when I used to handpick all my colors w/ normal layers for coloring.
I have been letting the edit layers take lead but the final look always becomes repetitive.
Spiritually have waited a decade to take this step after wasting my 20's feeling sorry for myself when I could have found happiness if I was more honest. Although late, I want to start building a future of my own construct.
Moving to LA on sunday. Taking reduced hours at the pharmacy I will be transferring to which will allow me to venture back into making art for a living but with less dependency as a primary source of income.
I want to finally put in effort to making my dream a reality.
I'll be surrounded by friends and peers who share the same vision and desire for growth.
I appreciate my direct fam but they've made it clear often they never believed in my work and wishes. So, after a recent rl sitch, I decided to leave and hopefully for good.
