Joe Ely, one of the best who ever did it has passed & a bit of light has gone out. Listen to anything by him & you won't be disappointed. One of my all-time favorites of his is "I Keep My Fingernails Long So They Click When I Play The Piano". Pure fun. RIP Joe.

RIP Raul Malo - one of the all-time best. Saw him so many times. Solo or with the Mavericks, he and the band never disappointed. He was always wonderful. Full of humor and self-deprecating. Spoke with him a few times personally & he was always cool & inviting. A great soul.

The Who (original members) was the first band I saw live & loved it. Great show. The band in this video, if you don't know, is The Smithereens. Seen them many times. Always great. The original singer/songwriter - Pat DiNizio - passed. Had one of the best voices ever in rock.
