@mrs_ingvardsen This happened the other day in my classroom after a read aloud. A few girls said they wanted to write about how they felt about the characters. Because quick writes are a known task we were able to do it- with ease- in the spot.
A3: I have really worked to set a purpose with my students. We discuss who the audience might be. I think this has led to more developed ideas in their writing #WellsStaffChat
A2: Like others have said we look for at least one opportunity’s week to include writing in social studies. Some weeks it is even more often #WellsStaffChat
A4- I agree- TWEET TWEET TWEET! Search for hashtags and authors. Someone will retweet and before you know it an author will reply. So a cool thing to share with students https://t.co/7LOsLTSoSj
A3- We have started this process on my campus. But I personally have a way to go with my classroom branding. My goal is to stretch our reach beyond just my parents and colleagues this year. #CFISDchat
A2- I feel branding is our way of giving not only parents and stakeholders an insight into our rooms but it’s our way of connecting our students with the outside world #CFISDchat
@RPMscience I mostly use Twitter. We have a campus wide hashtag that we use. I encourage all my parents to follow my classroom twitter account and I tag authors like crazy!
A1- Classroom Branding- finding what works for you and your students and then sharing that story with anyone who will listen (or read) about it! #CFISDchat
