@Meelsie143 Meat industry is fundamentally evil but so ingrained in society that dismantling it would take a lot of work. AI is being forced down our throats and onto our land, inflating the bubble bigger and bigger without any gain for the people. They aren't completely comparable.
@creator0fg1ants@isaiahsofyne I read this as "literal hell" not meaning actually literal because people love to misuse literal, but hell because its literal inescapable torment of real nikki
@Daykerpriest because how could he ever have guessed it would do anything? But as soon as he made the phone call and KNEW what he had done, he was 100% villain
@Daykerpriest I dont think villain from the start is fair because it strips any nuance from his character. He wasnt good at rhe starr, but neither was he objectively bad. He was flawed, mentally unwell, socially inept, and a little selfish. The wish is an unfair thing to criticize him for
@KeyUnicus@grandelano Im just chilling being lazy at work. Quickly typing out a response takes nothing out of me. A conversation goes two ways. It would have ended just as well if you simply stopped responding. But you keep coming back to say crazy or sociopathic shit. How can I not respond? Lmao
@KeyUnicus@grandelano Lmao, being unable to engage with anything said so just whipping out the first buzzword you roll on your buzzword dice
Idk id back out of an argument too if one of my points was "its okay to beat my friend to death for trying to hook up with my s/o" because thats an insane take.
@5411il@BlackbeardTop1@gjd055205551076 Right, in a different kind of film, it would be a simple cute moment. It was parodying love stories using a horror element. Not sure if parody is the right word there but it gets to the same thing
@Daykerpriest She gave him the opportunity to make things clear. She asked him upfront if he was interested in her. Had he been honest, she could either express her interest or respectfully reject it. But he wasnt honest and thus it was harder for her to go "Hey, i dont want to date you."
@KeyUnicus@grandelano Further sociopathic behavior from you. I dont think being a bad friend warrants harm, and if you do, youre a bad person and likely a bad friend, as any perceived slight could have physical repercussions.
@KeyUnicus@grandelano I would feel pretty bad if a friend that hit on my partner got beat up bc of it, if that was the extent of it, bc thats not deserving. Stop being friends with them? Sure, yell at them? Maybe. Beat them up? Smash their face in with a brick? Id feel fucking sick to my stomach.
@KeyUnicus@grandelano No, Nikki is the clearest victim. Nikki being the victim is so obvious that I dont feel the need to argue that. She deserved so much better. She deserved better friends, she deserved a good life. I didnt need to say that because you were victim blaming Sarah, not Nikki.
@KeyUnicus@grandelano Yeah yeah more victim blaming. Someone she believed didnt care about her either. Just more "she was asking for it" bullshit. Sociopathic behavior.
@KeyUnicus@grandelano thing to say about a girl for the crime of not being a good friend. Im inclined to feel bad for a girl who got her face bashed in, and then her body desecrated. Because im not a sociopath. Sorry.
@KeyUnicus@grandelano Then just stop replying girl, or block me, I dony really care. But if someone keeps arguing with me, I'll do the same.
You use rhetoric too similar to abuse apologists, rephrasing "she was asking for it" and "she had it coming" with "she did it to herself". Thats an insane
@KeyUnicus@grandelano Mostly because I don't think youre stupid, I just think you feel strongly about this, but it nears too closely to victim blaming for my taste.
@KeyUnicus@grandelano youre a woman. Youre still victim blaming a woman who got her face bashed in by basically saying she had it coming. I think you should avoid ad hominems when you're acting like that. Compared how I talk to most i disagree with, ive been rather nice to you.
