Honored to share my letter in Psychiatric Services: “Radical Recovery as a Blueprint for Rebuilding Trust.”
Trust cannot be demanded. It has to be earned. At the Institute of Living, our Radical Recovery vision offers one blueprint: community, choice, and cocreated care.
Psychiatry must look in the mirror and:
Share power.
Invite critique.
Make accountability visible.

Not the intention of this cartoon, but unironically a good explanation of how reward systems breakdown as LLMs reach "superhuman" performance (since our current rewards rely on expert labeling)

Another reflection on the whole "bad news for medical LLMs" take, which happens whenever a study suggests or shows limitations of LLMs in clinical reasoning -- no serious researcher that I know *actually* expects these models to be "doctor replacements", at least anytime soon.

@LaurenGermain18 highlights this quote in #assessment:
"Assessment has a powerful positive steering effect on learning and the curriculum. It conveys what we value as important and acts as the most cogent motivator of student learning." - Syed Amin Tabish

@HollyGoodMD using Kolb to help design education sessions:
1. Activate Prior Knowledge - help learners ask WHY?
2. What New Knowledge - see WHAT?
3. Try It Out - see HOW?
4. Just Do It! - ask WHAT IF?
#hmieducators
In our efforts for curriculum design in #meded and #hpe, @SKWood8 asks us to consider how our projects support the mission, vision and values of our institution? How can we align?
