@Oppressed_II I have to assume a difference in environment here. Sternum rubs are absolutely standard training in the police force, at least in the U.S.. Corporate security, too. What risk of injury is there, and what ethical concerns does it raise?

@Oppressed_II Jabbing with the baton along the chest is referred to as a “sternum rub” and is used to force a reaction from someone. Basically it’s a pulse-check, but one that forces them to wake up, stop doing what they’re doing, or something else of similar effect. Painful, but no damage.
