@adanagirl @SFdirewolf @SmartCrutchUSA Ah that's terrifying! For the first 6 or so times I had prolotherapy, I thought it was supposed to burn upon injection. Nope, that's just how I respond to lidocaine. Now we use bupivacaine and it actually numbs me and doesn't burn, because one doctor finally believed me. Woof!

Really loving seeing all of these #MobilityDeviceAppreciation posts! I'm out with my @SmartCrutchUSA crutches today. Hip prolotherapy tomorrow, so I'll likely be using my wheelchair for the rest of the week. Getting a little walkabout/sunset viewing in before my indoorsy week! 💖

@roseveleth No, because I have an excellent medical care team established where I live, as well as a supportive network of family and friends. If I were in perfect health, I'm still not sure I would have a different answer. (I'm lucky to work remotely so technically I could live elsewhere)
