Powerful to hear from an eloquent Y13 going through a great deal of turmoil over #alevelresults2020 - happy to share the story and wishing you all the best.
(THREAD) So, let's talk: mental health of Y13s, because this week, everybody remembers we exist!
1. We 'left' school in March. No/little contact with school after, no work, no purpose.
2. Exams cancelled. Nobody knew anything for 2 days.

Of course exam results don't need to define us, but they can be pivotal for higher education. Good advice here: be proactive about your next steps, in what seems to have been a very unfair and poorly handled set of circumstances - universities want to help.
I don't know how many parents or young people going to university I have following me, but in light of the #ALevelResults fiasco to repeat something I say frequently: call the universities. They will be flexible, & they will have options that the automated system doesn't show up.
Doing experiments online? Worried about the quality of data you're collecting?
