NEW: Govt's updated impact assessment on assisted dying bill has just QUADRUPLED the estimated number of people who would apply to die

New 160-page official report has upper estimate for applicants (in first year of implementation) rocketing from:
- 1,078 under the old Leadbeater bill
- to 4,610 under the new Lauren Edwards bill

Updates are largely down to adjusted methodology based on fresh international data

Means lots of new info for MPs to chew over as bill gets 2nd reading on 11 Sept...

Bees struggle in this weather 🥵

We find a lot of bees running out of fuel when perched on our sunflowers

Use a water bottle & fine spray the flowers, fruit, seeds (what ever stage they are at) close to the bee, & they will hoover them up & regain strength

Have you seen Russell Brookes?

There are serious concerns for Russell's welfare, and police are appealing for information to help locate him.
Description: 43 • 5'8" tall • Medium build • Short mousey-coloured hair • Tribal tattoo on his left arm • Large tattoo on his right calf • Possibly wearing grey shorts and a light blue hooded top
Last seen: Russell was last seen at Whiston Hospital, Merseyside, after being taken there. He left the hospital without informing anyone. He was reported missing on Monday, and police spoke with him the following day, but his current whereabouts remain unknown.
Russell is frequently seen in the Haydock and St Helens areas.
Police Reference: 23/7/142
If you have seen Russell or have any information that could help locate him, please contact Merseyside Police, quoting the reference number above, or call 999 immediately if the sighting is current.
