If it weren't for my now agent's encouraging rejections to the first two projects, I would have never sent the third her way. Ironically, the subgenre of the 3rd project was a 🚫 on her #MSWL, but she ended up drawn in by the voice as much as she had been with the 1st two.

I started a new WIP. It feels exactly like falling in love. Not because my characters are wonderful, but because they are flawed and real and they're about to go on an adventure.

@FictionGal66 Querying is tedious, mentally exhausting work, so find a hobby that is large, takes you away from your computer/phone, and requires manual labor. I redid our gazebo while querying. Now it's an amazing space, and I have an agent!

What if art/literature made with AI had a special label? Maybe even a discrete icon? That way, the people who care about avoiding it can do so? It would probably make the AI art worth less, but wouldn't that be fair? Fine dining and fast food are different experiences and prices.
