Something I learnt sometime ago.
E-arguments are mainly about winning- who's right and who's not. They're not about learning. Facts are inconsequential and propaganda are birthed.
Just another shouting match.
Nip it in the bud with @frankdonga_ 's remedy, 'OK'.
I would get anxious each time I spent cash because I didn't know when the next cash would come.
@tobiologun, remember when egbọn brought old notes from the UK to swap with new notes and we descended on those old notes.
🤣🤣🤣
People really suffered during the new note saga. One police officer who's old enough to be my father needed ₦2,500 cash but couldn't get. I asked him to transfer to me and I gave him. The man was about to prostrate for me but I quickly held him and brought him back up.
Look at Ojuelegba and Iyana Oworo under Governor Ambode over 10 years ago. See how he always ensured that public spaces were well maintained and that attention was paid to detail. Signage was properly placed, public spaces were orderly, and there was little or no indiscriminate street trading in sight.
You do not want to know what some of these places have become today.
Its not just shabisshly picking up waste who is responsible for beautifying the area back?
I am still trying to understand the thought process of those handling environmental management in this administration. There seems to be very little emphasis on maintaining environmental standards, preserving public spaces, or enforcing order.
Are there no KPIs? No performance benchmarks? No regular audits of environmental conditions?
For a city that prides itself as a Centre of Excellence and a major commercial hub, how on earth is this considered acceptable?

Say na 'nothing wrong with Old Trafford, just renovation that’s all'.
As per the engineer that did the evaluation of Old Trafford.
A section of Man Utd fans are probably the only fans to manage to always squeeze negativity from positive news.

OT that infamously leaks when it rains?
Nothing was wrong with WHT before Spurs spent on a new stadium.
Nothing was wrong with Bernabeu before Madrid spent over a billion dollars (enough to build a new stadium).
Nothing was wrong with Highbury before Arsenal built Emirates.
We’re moving massively, my club just secured a land, wow.😂😂
INEOS and GLAZERS are more focus on the income the stadium will bring not the football part.
The stadium should be the last thing to consider bcuz there’s nothing wrong with Old Trafford, just renovation that’s all.
Sometimes, it is not even about not going to school. Some parents don't bother checking how much their kid's school fee is. Some parents use money to cover for responsibility.
In Covenant that year, some people attended secondary schools which were very expensive. After paying N3m per annum for secondary school, some parents assume Uni would be more expensive, so they just send like N10m to the kid's account to cover for fees and pocket money. Meanwhile, school fees was about N500k.
