@FUimCranky They should've matched Becca w/ Michael & Chloe w/ Austin. Brennan & Emily should not be on the show. Clare and Cameron would be amazing together if they'd just get out of their heads & stop over thinking!
@DroMexikan @widowedPP I told my child (apprx 12 when I started to date as a widow) that I would always love his dad. Its like the β€οΈ gets bigger to hold more love as you can love people in diff ways. I said he will grow up & be busy w/ work & his family. He agreed it wasn't good to be alone forever.
@A_Research_Guru Your soul is energy & lives on. Your partner, kids & grandkids will feel your energy. I have felt my late husband's energy. It is comforting & peaceful. Love is eternal. Memories are forever. You will continue to be a part of your loved ones lives just in a diff way. πππ
@A_Research_Guru But first some people may feel a lot of anger, disappointment, bittersweet. Some may stay in denial for a while. Everyone's journey is different. Do what feels right and be true to yourself. Feel it all. I wish you peace and hope they manage your pain well. ππ
@A_Research_Guru Every feeling is valid. My late husband's oncologist said in his 11 yrs of exp, all his patients knew in the days or weeks before. They would do or say things that showed they knew death was near. The EOL doula course I took also mentioned that sense of knowing.
@A_Research_Guru I'm sorry you're in this situation. After my husband died, I took an End-of-Life (EOL) Doula (death doula) course. I wish I would've had the knowledge & insight before he died. You might want to contact an EOL doula in your area. They can help you navigate care & decisionsππ
@SS_Summer@mrscmway Sorry for your loss. My hubby died 7 years ago. 6 months the shock wears off. 2nd year is harder as you've exp all the 1sts & reality sets in. 5th year was hard too & still exp waves of grief. I miss him in diff ways now. People don't understand grief. Be kind to yourself. ππ
@widow_waiting I totally understand. It does get easier but then I found it got more difficult around 5 years. This year was hard with our child graduating HS, learning to drive & getting his first job. I just so wish his dad was here for it all. Be kind to yourself & Happy birthday. πππ
Dear @LibbyMbc I've been thinking of you like probably so many of your followers. I hope you're enveloped by Violet's warm hugs, sweet kisses and her everlasting love and the love of your family and friends. πππ
@CONCONVK@LibbyMbc I did this for my late husband too & over 7 years later I think of him daily too. I would do it all over again & more in a heartbeat because I appreciate him now more than ever. Sometimes it takes loss to make you truly cherish what you had. It's a privilege to love & be loved π
@PinkyGriffin@LibbyMbc My son starts college this fall too. He lost his dad over 7 years ago to cancer. I see my husband in my son too... they look similar, walk the same, his love of science, tech & sports. But most of all in his strength of character & sense of self. It is bittersweet but a joy π
@LibbyMbc It's normal to be scared. You may not get your big "Hallelujah" miracle. In my hubby's final months, there were many small miracles. I held onto those & still do. I feel his love & presence, esp in our child. You're not alone - we are holding you in our thoughts, prayers & hopes.
@LibbyMbc You have been an amazing mom and have enriched Violet's life is so many ways. You will always be a part of her and your husband's heart and memories. Love is eternal. They will feel your energy and love forever. Hugs πππ
@LibbyMbc I'm so sorry Libby. My hubby died of cancer 11 months after diagnosis. Violet will remember you, β€ you forever & miss you. It will always be there but she will be okay. My son is a happy & well adjusted teen even though he went through the trauma of losing his dad @ a young age
@theOGkimpage You have way more choices in YYC than Edmonton. It's blue colour town here and even and less progressive men. Yup... online dating is dismal in Alberta.
@LibbyMbc@AndreasBoos I acknowledge the loss of the life you hoped & dreamed of. It's π & unfair. It's natural to feel that loss & mourn it & question what might have been. You're an amazing & loving mom Libby. Violet has seen & experienced your greatest qualities. Hugs
@LibbyMbc@AndreasBoos You are your true self now more than ever. You're showing Violet the purity, power & grace of true love, courage, resilience, empathy, insight & strength of character. Those qualities will resonate with her far more than any activities. She will love & remember you always. πππ
