@coasthealthhub@DrJN_SportsMed Most of the knee special tests will cause pain even in asymp pts. If a pt has a painful knee then the special tests will be more painful. Subjective, mech, symptoms location and type of pain alongside mri often all that’s needed.
@BillingMartin@thefizzeo There will be significant variation across the whole profession. For me it’s the speed of progression to achieve so called advanced practice level.

@BillingMartin@physiojack@adamdobson123@thecsp All new grad physios should start at band 6. There are now band 5 clerical roles in the nhs. You are wasting your breath if you think @thecsp will either do or will be able to do anything. Like I said ages ago physio is poorly paid and we don’t have any power to change it.
@BillingMartin Bang on. I know salary shouldn’t be a driver but people can get more money doing lesser jobs. Also the nhs pension age is another carrot that has lost its appeal
@PhysioDOH@thecsp It’s another example of @thecsp not being as strong as other unions. Unfortunately their lack of power means they have little voice and weighting to many issues. #timetoleave.
@BillingMartin@thecsp Yeah been here many times at numerous trusts around Lancashire that I have worked. When I graduated it was similar, minimal jobs for new graduates.
I question how loud that voice is.
@AdamMeakins@BillingMartin We have students on a regular basis and I find myself encouraging them to look at working in Australia or New Zealand. Under valued and under paid profession in the UK
