Q. Compared to your debut days, who has changed the most and who has changed the least?

ASAHI:
The youngest line—HARUTO, PARK JEONG WOO, and SO JUNG HWAN—has grown so much, so I’d say they’ve changed the most. As for the one who has changed the least, it’s JUNKYU. He has a strong core and has always been steady, so he’s someone who’s very easy to be around.

JIHOON:
The member who has changed the most is PARK JEONG WOO. He was around 16 years old when we debuted and was like a baby, but I think everything about him has grown—his vocals, dance, skills, and even his personality. During this tour, I really felt his growth. Even at the after-party following our Seoul concert, I kept telling PARK JEONG WOO, “You did great.”

Q. Looking back, which member do you think understands you the best?

JIHOON:
CHOI HYUN SUK and I have been leaders together for a long time, so we’ve shared a lot of memories and I feel like we really understand each other.

Also, PARK JEONG WOO and HARUTO know almost all of my secrets. (laughs)

tbh, i'm scared, and it's normal to feel that way about someone you care for so much. due to past traumas, i hate holding onto words and reassurances people give. but junkyu is different. he wrote and posted his letter for a reason—sincerity. like he said, this is just a pause to take care of himself and return. i want to believe it's true. he'll come back stronger soon. he will always be worth the wait.

i want to think that one reason he's been smiling these past few days is that before he finally decided to take a break, he felt so much love, support, and comfort from teumes throughout the promotions. another thing i like to think of is that he now has the chance to spend time with his family, enjoy good meals, and do the things he loves—all without the restrictions and pressure of work. and i love that for him. thinking this way is maybe enough for me to feel relieved.
