SOOP, formerly known as AfreecaTV, now operates under its new brand worldwide, offering content creators across the globe a space to stream, share, and engage with audiences.

Facilitated by the African International Film Festival (AFRIFF), This partnership is focused on empowering digital content creators in Nigeria by launching SOOP’s global content platform locally, and establishing the infrastructure needed to support content creation at scale.

SOOP’s operations in Nigeria will not only diversify earnings for creators, but will also contribute significantly to the Ministry’s economic expansion agenda.

The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy @Fmactce_Nigeria and SOOP Co. Ltd will work together on cultural exchange programs and co-productions to build stronger collaboration between our nations.
