Back to school for our children at St Nicholas and Larkrise and back to the battlefield with @wiltscouncil Its far from over on this flawed school closure proposal! https://t.co/HNy2EEwtE0
This is heartbreaking, concerning and very worrying to read about our most vulnerable children, and, sadly, this is happening all over the country. Something HAS to be done to help our special schools. 😢😢
None of this would have been possible without the help and support of you lot out there in the local community so we want to say an absolutely huge thank you to you all. Collective action really can work!
Keep following us for updates!!!
Our schools will remain open and if they try to shut them in the future we will campaign again! In the meantime we are looking forward to working with the Council to create an amazing three site school suitable for all our children.

This is why we have joined with @TheSun to campaign for more money for social care for disabled children and their families. Add your name to our open letter to the Chancellor #GiveItBack https://t.co/4gKiSh2Hdh
Massive shout out to Poppy, Nadia and Sharon at @SendCrisis and all the local co-ordinators and supporters who have organised the #SendNationalCrisis march. They are truly amazing.
As disabled children and families march throughout the country government statistics show that things are getting worse. The percentage of EHCPs completed within the 20 week MAXIMUM time limit has decreased by 5%. Only 60% completed within the legal limit. #SendNationalCrisis
The ☀️is shining! Massive shout out to all those marching today for all the children and young people with special needs!! Shouting loud for those who don’t have a voice. #togetherwearestronger
Did you know that pupils with special educational needs/disabilities are six times more likely to be excluded from English state schools than pupils without SEND? This is why we are marching on Thursday 30th May. Please join the #SendNationalCrisis march. @SendCrisis
Children with special educational needs/disabilities are being failed, forced out of school, left without education or without suitable education, their legal rights undermined. This is why families are marching this Thursday 30th May. @SendCrisis#SendNationalCrisis
Tomorrow, we will march and we will let you know @DamianHinds what you are up against… We will NOT STAND for this any longer...
