Started the weekend by sharing our hallmark programme on waste management with new crew members; To #KeepFijiClean we collect, sort then weigh trash to understand what types of waste materials are most common. Gathering better data helps inform better community programmes ⛵️

The latest #LowCarbonSeaTransport project in Fiji will see 100+ traditionally designed wind sailing canoes in 2019; these are destined for villages with marine managed areas & eco-tourism, seaweed/pearl farming, fishing and a soon to established @UtoNiYalo voyaging school
