@darchy9 @townofoakville I could see not wanting a soccer field full of people running on it all night, but in the case of 12U and under baseball you've got 3 OFs maybe combing for 240lbs on the grass. Making the call at 1:30 with a 30% chance of rain the rest of the afternoon is nonsense.

@townofoakville Ugh. Your policy to close all fields regardless of how well they drain causes unnecessary scheduling problems for teams already struggling to find diamond time. It is reasonable to believe that a park could dry out in 5 hours with this sun and wind!!!
