As I end and close the door on this story, it only makes sense to end this account as well.
I’d like to leave you with this:
Whether you accept it or not, we are all are connected.
Be kinder to yourself, we deserve it.
I don’t celebrate January 1st as the new year. For me, it’s always been spring.
But with everything happening in my life currently, it feels different.
This isn’t a new chapter. It’s a completely different story.
Nothing worse than realizing your first instinct about someone was right. And that you second guessed yourself because of self doubt and wanting to give someone a chance, Only to learn the same lesson again, the hard way, by getting burned.
Minimize and limit your interaction with people who take little jabs at you, regardless of if it’s subtle. The kind they try to convince you is “not that serious”. It’s these types of passive aggressive games that leave your aura with tears, holes and damage.
When healers offer support, care, facilitation for people who are suffering, in pain, or even dying, our role is not to resonate with their pain. But to provide companionship and witnessing. We validate with a presence that says, your life has meaning and purpose. You matter.
Solidarity with all my brothers who take care of their loved ones through it all.
Only we know the exhaustion, the pain, the resilience, the selflessness, the mental strength it takes to continuously meet this responsibility.
Rest well when you get the chance.
Are we this powerless as a collective that we cannot stop the murdering of CHILDREN?
How is there even a debate as to when this is ok or justified?
How is this life?
God forgives all, but I hope God never forgives those behind the trigger or those who defend them.
