Mental health is beyond the physical. You cannot always measure someone’s psychological well being just by looking at them. Check on your loved ones and friends you never know what they are going through
Culture and mental health does not always coincide perfectly. In the past, many parents simply did not understand mental health due to cultural differences, suggesting things like “depression is not a real thing” or “man up”.
Here is a thread of my speech at Cambridge University for the Commonwealth debate.
This event was historical as I became the first Black student to debate at Cambridge on the topic of Commonwealth via The Round Table organisation.
