@PeteButtigieg I am sympathetic to the family of the victim that was killed. However, NJT still
had an obligation to get hundreds of passengers to New York and communicate accurately and timely to us. They failed miserably!
@PeteButtigieg If airlines cannot hold passengers on a runway with little to no information, trains shouldn’t either. A couple of times there were announcements that a replacement train was coming soon. Lie! Two trains passed us by.
@PeteButtigieg I am sitting on an EB NJ Transit train to NYC. I boarded at 3:27 p.m. Service was interrupted because a pedestrian was struck. We sat for almost two hours with inadequate & inaccurate information.
@NJTRANSIT The communication during this crisis is inadequate. The train staff should undergo training on when and how often to communicate with passengers during an incident.
@NJTRANSIT Where is the train that was going to be here in a “few minutes?” We were told to walk back to exit by low leveling 20 minutes ago. The crisis management is appalling.
@NJTRANSIT my sympathies go out to the family of the victim struck by the train. I still have to go to work. The fourth train that should “be here any minute” hasn’t arrived yet. Is it really coming this time? Poor communication! DO BETTER!
@NJTRANSIT We understand the tragic circumstances requiring the train to stop but the messages over the speaker were incorrect - we believed a replacement train was coming. Wrong - two or three passed us by.
@NJTRANSIT Several garbled messages and multiple “apologies for the “inconvenience” are inadequate substitutes for informing us when we can get off the train.
@NJTRANSIT DO BETTER! nJ Transit personnel should undergo more training on how and when to communicate with passengers during a crisis.
I am on a train that struck a pedestrians. The communication we have received is woefully inadequate.
@JaniceFinnerin@AP Are you kidding? She is in jail where she belongs! She defrauded investors with technology that didn’t do what she claimed and she knew this.
