Poland Bought 82 Tons of Gold This Year, Central Banker Says
The bank has bought 82 tons this year so far, Glapinski said at news conference in Warsaw on Thursday. That means the bank has accumulated another 37 tons since the last official data was released for April, an amount worth approximately $5 billion at current prices.
Poland reported more gold purchases than any other central bank in 2025 and looks on course to repeat the feat this year.
Glapinski reaffirmed the Polish central bank’s target of accumulating 700 tons of gold holdings. The bank now holds 632.4 tons of gold, 105 tons of which is kept in Poland, with the rest split between London and New York, he said.
“This isn’t some kind of race or a purchase made merely for the sake of it,” the governor said. “There is a deep sense in the state’s role in ensuring the security of Poland and Poles under all circumstances, including wartime, which of course we’re not expecting.” (Bloomberg)
NGOs basically just light money on fire.
Not only would this not be important if true, it’s demonstrably false- with competition from Paramount, Apple TV, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, Hulu, YouTube, Disney+,Tubi, traditional cable and more.
I’m sitting here this morning wondering if I’m going to wake up from this altered reality.
Yet again, Nigel Farage appears to be making a mockery of our political system. Once more, the narrative is being framed around him as the victim, despite the fact that he now finds himself in a position that is entirely of his own making.
This isn’t the result of actions taken by others; it is the consequence of his own decisions.
Notice "climate change" quietly dropped out of the Davos script right when winning the AI race started requiring gigawatts. Turns out the crisis was negotiable all along....just sayin

Reading how petty rules are going to prevent many pubs/venues stay open for the Mexico England game.
It's the world cup. Let fans enjoy the game, let pubs make some money (for once). Get out of our way. Not complicated.
Big news for automotive sustainability: PureCycle and Motherson have produced a bumper prototype with 30% recycled PP. It's a direct answer to the EU's ELV Regulation.
We'll be sharing more at Startup Autobahn Expo in Stuttgart on July 2. 🚗♻️
