What are the chances that @tmobile is clearing the list this summer? I would love the support anywhere I can get it. https://t.co/7zrJYGAEMK

Another summer of preparing to switch to a new grade level and the cost associated with it. I just want a stable job in one grade level and not to have to worry about my grade level from summer to summer.
It always amazes me the number of teachers that are incorrectly teaching letter names and sounds. This is my PSA for all teachers to look up the correct way to say letter names and sounds. You will thank me later!
Can I mention how I am still in my feels about how Steve from Blue Clues gave that speech. I don't think he realizes how much us millennials needed that right now.
I am reminded each year just how important it is to practice working independently at the beginning of the year. This year in 1st grade it is even more important because 50% of our students were strictly on zoom last year. #teacher#iteachfirst
I found out I am being moved to 1st Grade this upcoming year. I am struggling wit the idea of being moved from Kindergarten. Even more so, I am struggling with the fact there are SO many materials I do not have for first grade.
I have been learning how to create and utilize BOOM cards. If anyone uses them and has any requests, please let me know. I love making them and want to make products that are beneficial to myself and other teachers as well!
My next project on top of my sight word assessments is a digital calendar to use virtually. While as of right now I am not virtual, I want to be able to incorporate it into my regular classroom as well.
I am working on a product that will be virtual sight word assessments. I am starting with making the product for BOOM cards. I am going to also make a Google Slide version that teachers can use for Zoom, Google Meets, etc. This will allow one-on-one assessments. #iteachk#teacher
@MelissaReese04 This was a struggle for me in the spring for sure. I had 2 parents that would sit out of view of the camera and think I didn’t know they were there. They would then whisper the names to their students. I think very clearly telling parents wrong answers help us know what to work
No matter what form of learning happens this year it WILL be an amazing year. Your students WILL learn. They are resilient and will rise to the occasion. Teachers are resilient and will rise to the occasion too!
@Mrs_R_PreK I am a kinder teacher. We got a grant to get individual supplies for our kids to use at home and school. My list was pencil, notebook, bear counters, colored counters, play doh, white board, marker and magnetic letters.
You can love your administrators and disagree with them at the same time. You can respect your administrators and think they’re wrong at the same time. You can appreciate your administrators and hold them accountable at the same time.
