Most of the doctors follow the implementing rules on prescription writing of the Generics Law. Following the rules on the said law allow doctors to give their patients a “more affordable/cheaper” yet reliable option/choices for their treatment.

Doctors have the option of writing down brand names on their prescription as long as it is for the best and for the sake of their patients.

Q1: A proper greeting at the beginning of a consult is the first step to a patient’s trust. But a PROPERLY written prescription is the first step in giving that patient the power to heal himself through responsibility and compliance.

@medpharmaguy there are MDs that rx branded meds d/t their experience in effectivity. there are some who rx branded meds depending on the perks given to them by the medreps. personally if im the patient, id care less about the brand but more if it’s the right med for my condition
Q2: There is nothing wrong in writing the brand name as long as the doctor knows that it will be the best medicine for his patients while still following the right way of writing prescription. #DoIHaveaChoice#RXWriting@medpharmaguy
Q1: Despite the ammendment of RA 6675 we cant deny the fact that many doctors dont abide to this law. Maybe because they have seen it themselves the efficacy of certain drug after all we want nothing but the best for the our patients. #DoIHaveaChoice#RXWriting@medpharmaguy
