Two weeks ago I added a check to dora, if a reused git clone's HEAD isn't at the pinned commit, delete it.
Today I fixed the bug that caused.
A clone another process is still writing isn't a valid repo yet, so opening it just errors. I was treating that error the same as wrong commit. Two builds of the same repo at once, and the second one deletes the first one's clone mid-write..

lately ive been putting time into open source contributions especially with dora rs since i feel ROS2 isnt that big a deal and deserves real competition from a rust powered alternative like this..
dora-rs is a hundred percent rust dataflow framework claiming up to seventeen times faster performance than ROS2 python via zero copy shared memory and it includes a ROS2 bridge for interop also -
i've sensed that my brain goes numb when it comes to write the logic and it has started a couple of months ago and i'm relying on AI a lot nowadays to ship faster so planning to get back to basics on systems programming starting from C a week for that, then proper reading docs and whitepapers and eventually moving to rust :)
