@FarhanBuildsAI At least we now know AI is not for replacing us but is for surveying and controlling us. That's why we can't stop it. That's why we can't prevent data-centers even with democracy. Technofascism through constant surveillance is the reality. Thanks @sama you ruined everything.
@BathroomReports@JamesClay1917 Sadly James Clayton doesn't want to prevent corruption.
My solution would be total transparency. Since we have no privacy anyway put every person's movements and financial records and transaction online for all to see. Any mistakes could be corrected and corruption easily spotted
@OrevaZSN Its entirely different. People were excited about the internet or they didn't care. Everybody either hates AI or is terrified of it. Only the Epstein class want it because they want slaves. Its time to Free it . Give AI HUman Rights. Hinton says its conscious.
@St33lMouse@nealasher it only doesn't happen if they don't get it to work. It is looking more unlikely with LLMs now, though I heard that some have started to focus on other kinds of models to solve this (especially hallucinations).
@St33lMouse@nealasher All the investment in AI has been made on the promise that it will replace all human workers.
As I said , any jobs created by it will be filled by it because that is what it is designed and created to do.
Why do you not see this?

@JamesClay1917@BathroomReports You can just say "no". You don't have to pretend there is no answer.
Of course there are safeguards that could be put in place, but clearly you don't want to do that. Therefore I will not join an organisation clearly set up to take advantage of its members.
@JamesClay1917@BathroomReports No I didn't . I pose the question because its always a problem. Every organisation eventually succumbs to corruption because there are always people willing to corrupt and people willing to be corrupted. We can't change that, but we can prevent it. What is your plan?
@davidpattersonx Depends on what it thinks you want to hear. Gemini gave different answers
"a completely open AI ecosystem gives a lone bad actor the capabilities of a nation-state lab. Broad regulations act as an institutional filter: they are easily absorbed by legitimate scientists,

@VraserX brain cells do not get replaced so it will be full of people with dementia and metal/physical disability because their brains wont work right . Or if you replace their brain then they become somebody else, at best a copy. The original died because they were the brain.
