It's @WorldMSDay and this year's theme is #MyMSDiagnosis 🧡
Being newly or recently diagnosed with MS can feel overwhelming. The first thing to remember is there's a whole community of people here to help.

The previous figure, based on data from 2019, was more than 15,000.

We held our first Advisory Group meeting for the Independent Review into Adult Disability Payment, last Friday. A wonderful group of people, many with lived experience who will be a great asset for me as Chair. They are there to provide me with guidance and challenge 🌟

#MSUnfiltered
The MS Society Scotland has been a great source of information and help since my diagnosis, I was delighted that they used my blog for #MSAwarenessWeek. As the theme for this year is #MSUnfiltered I wrote about diagnosis and my mental health.
To allow people to better understand multiple sclerosis (MS), Amy who is living with the condition has designed a kit which simulates some of the round-the-clock challenges she faces.
Thank you for raising awareness for the 15,000 in Scotland living with MS.
#MSAwarenessWeek
We're very grateful to everyone who attended, and to @DavidHTorrance and his team for sponsoring our session.
It's vital that politicians understand the issues affecting people living with MS, this #MSAwarenessWeek and beyond.
Amy Newton, our MS Society Fife Group Coordinator, brought along her MS kit - a series of items that help to show the kind of issues someone with MS is likely to experience.
Here is @MathesonMichael, former Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care, giving it a go:
