Trace Simmons (C) — Uncommitted
One of the hottest uncommitted bats in the country right now, Trace Simmons is putting together a big-time season at the plate. Hitting .365 with a 1.078 OPS, Simmons has been a consistent offensive force all year long.
He’s driven in 41 RBIs while tallying 15 extra-base hits, including 7 home runs — and the power is only trending up. Simmons has really started to tap into more HR juice lately, showing his ability to change a game with one swing.
Recently recognized as one of the top uncommitted catchers in the country, Simmons brings a strong combination of production, power, and value behind the plate.

I get certain situations can justify bunting in Baseball, but bunting overall is a lack of confidence a Coach has in his players ability to hit the ball!!!! I SAID WHAT I SAID!!!
@zack_cozart Hitters will and always think hit first, walk 2nd, so I would say get HBP 3rd if ever.
Now if he could have thought, let it hit him me tie the game would have been a clutch move…but 90+ is hard to do
@flowsdoc If it’s ok for your players to make a mistake this badly, Then why do we argue balls and strikes every time an umpire don’t get it right. A mistake is a mistake!!!
This is someone that went up there to hit and not walk. Went up the to make something happen and not hope something happened. This is someone who said the moment is mine to take and I’m taking it. No excuses, only results
Joe Davis’ call on the Aaron Judge home run last night was spectacular, by the way.
“If it’s fair, it’s his moment. It is! It’s time! Judge has arrived!”
@DrummaSC@not_rekt_11 Listen to him talk. And even at that, when someone is this scared to fight and you sucker punch them, but hey you want to only point out someone said black. You are a low grade asshole that has a racist problem.
