Following more than 8 hours of untreated sewage discharge by Southern Water's Swalecliffe No 1 outfall since since 14 March -Greens were out water quality testing at West Beach Whitstable today. Results will be announced later this week.

So sad to see CCC have once again destroyed the bushes in the big green triangle - it’s nesting season according to @andyswalecliffe these bushes are (were)the home to largest sparrow & starling population in Kent !
I’ve emailed Mark Dance -Swalecliffe councillor but it’s too late for the birds
Meanwhile they try to blame the decline of birds on dog walkers !
