@dakotanews_now I, for one, will NOT be voting for governor. Too much negativity and too much unwanted phone solicitation - even texts. I hope many others decide not to vote as well. We have to get a handle on all this negativity and unwanted marketing.
The most progressive mayor in America just revived the oldest reactionary demand ever made of Jews.
Zohran Mamdani won't march in the Israel Day Parade. But he'll send police to protect it.
He'll guard the Jewish body. He won't stand with the Jewish people.
In 1789, France told the Jews: everything to you as individuals, nothing to you as a nation. Be a citizen at home, quietly. Don't stand up in public as a people.
That deal is 234 years old. Mamdani just offered it to the largest Jewish community on earth outside Israel, and called it justice.
"It's not a policy parade. It's a Jewish people parade."
He didn't refuse an Israeli government. He refused a people standing in public as a people.
His side says anti-Zionism just means dropping one opinion. But Zionism isn't an opinion Jews hold. It's the claim that Jews are a people, not only a faith.
Asking a Jew to drop it isn't asking him to change his mind. It's asking him to bury the half of himself you find inconvenient.
The Jews of New York have heard this offer before. In French. In German. They know how it ends for those who say yes.
So they should give the only right answer.
March. Bring the flags. Bring the children.
We'll take the everything. We'll keep the nothing.
And we'll march up Fifth Avenue as the one thing the bargain forbids:
A people. In full view. Unafraid.
@ZachZaidman@thescorechicago Can't think of better therapy for recovering from a knee replacement than listening to you guys! Pat was gracious and did a podcast interview for me shortly before spring training.
Ticket punched. Statement made. 🎟️
The Trojans take care of business in the quarterfinals and are headed to the Fab Four of the NAIA Women’s Basketball National Championship for the second time in program history—one step closer. ⚔️

History keeps calling for this group. ⚔️
The Trojans are 30 wins strong after today’s quarterfinal win, setting a new program record and earning a spot in the Fab Four for the second time in program history. Head Coach David Moe is also nearing career win #200. 🔥

@thescorechicago@ZachZaidman@PatandRon1043 Why does the Score not let Sirius broadcast Spring Training games? It looks like every other team does and, because I live 500 miles away from Chicago, Audacy won't let me listen.
