@mhdksafa Because Jesus wasn’t talking to the government. He was talking to individuals and the church. It benefits both sides when it’s done this way. The recipient is grateful and works not to need to ask all the time. When it’s the government, people think it’s a right. That’s why!
The IRS collects around $2.7T in personal taxes each year, the Top 1% of earners pay 46%, the Top 50% of earners pay 97.7% of that $2.7T.
Our Fed Gov collected 5.23T in revenue in 2025, up 53% since 2020, but our Congress spent over $7T in 2025 alone.
With the BILLIONS of fraud being found every day in entitlements. PERHAPS
@harperlee789 You already have to show ID for a gun purchase, and alcohol, tobacco, hunting and fishing licenses, check into hotel, rent a car, buy a car, open a bank account, check out a library book, get on an airplane, ride a train and a bunch of other stuff.
@eurofounder I’ll take things that never happened for $1000, Alex! No one would fly somewhere to go to an event as popular as the World Cup without tickets. Tickets in Houston were sold as part of a lottery.
@Cryptoboyy_Aji People seem to forget that at that time they didn’t have to buy the “ newest thing”. Have a cell phone, have interwebs, have a tv in every room, go on an expensive vacation every 6 months, pay extra to have Taco Bell delivered, have a subscription for everything, and so on.
@ULCajunsVoice@tcowan83 They don’t know that those will likely be regional feeds. So, when you are playing in Idaho and Oregon, I’m pretty sure your fans won’t be watching.
@MurphyCBrooks@beerhoseboys I love you, son. Super proud of you. I’ve never met someone who has had as profound of an impact on his coaches, teammates, and fans as you have had with as little playing time as you got. God has amazing plans for your life! His redirection is always for the best!
@MatrixMysteries That “meal” including 3 large sides and 8 biscuits is $45 in Houston, TX. It’s intended to feed 6-8 people. If feeding 6, it’s $7.50/ea. If 8, it’s $5.63/ea. Good luck beating that price by much anywhere. Not sure what you’re complaining about.
@ma1ybe Actually, I see this baby survived. So, based on your take, the abortion ban actually saved this baby’s life. Much better result than murdering the baby in the womb!
