JJ Wetherholt this season:
8 defensive runs saved, on pace for 24 (Rookie 2B record is 12)
6-6 stolen bases-attempts 12 extra bases taken at 60% clip
121 OPS+ MLB rookie 2B average is 83
His range of value is immense.
Grateful to be part of this broadcast on @FS1 alongside @RichWaltz and @Plesac19, with our outstanding producer/director team of @keithcostas and Ben Johnston.
This is actually crazy. The three "errors" could have easily gone the other way as you'll see below. Winn truly could've had a perfect season at shortstop.
What is @Victor_Scott2 thinking when he's in the batter's box?
The @Cardinals OF joins us in-studio to break down his offensive approach, hitting against Paul Skenes and more.

I wouldn’t be here in this moment without Harold Reynolds. After the 2017 season, I was contemplating retirement and it was he who pushed me to strive for the Hall of Fame knowing what it would take to make it. 3,000+ Ks, 250+ wins, everything. One conversation changed my whole trajectory and for that I’m forever grateful. Thank you Harold.
Electrifying speed ✅
A rocket of an arm ✅
@MasynWinn hits the Skybox to break down some of his ELITE tools and how he uses them to add value to this @Cardinals roster.

This was such a fun story to report/write, folks.
On Opening Day, @Cardinals icon Adam Wainwright (@UncleCharlie50) made his debut as the newest @MLBNetwork Analyst. A good time was had by all.
My behind-the-scenes look, for @ScoopsNetwork ... https://t.co/zagl43UpYo
I ABSOLUTELY cannot thank @MLBNetwork enough for this hour. Showing my little boys what dad used to do (my girls lived it) It’s like my obit!! But I’m proud and thankful to @MLBONFOX for letting me do the games of a broadcaster’s dreams.
“Commish” was a favorite amongst players and staff. He did it right and was one of the most respected writers to ever do it. Our final conversation was this spring training, him coming over to the Marlins side, just to congratulate me. No other reason. Incredible. RIP Commish.
My colleague. My mentor. My dearest friend.
And he deserves my absolute best to capture the incredible life of the beloved Hall of Fame baseball writer who defined professionalism and the profession.
Rick Hummel (1946-2023)
The Commish, RIP.

@B_Rowen@mike_petriello perfect storm for sure...lost track when Gameday didn't track the phantom B9, but I think it ended up around 285 pitches compared to average of just under 300 per nine-inning game this season...commercials were 40 seconds shorter than postseason and 10 shorter than regular season
Fall Stars Game with the pitch clock…
11 runs
20 pitchers
2 hours, 40 minutes
…would’ve been 2 hours, 30 minutes on the dot if they hadn’t decided to play B9 with home team leading.
