@JezzEllwoodGolf@GolfClubSec Brilliant! Consorting with a geologist over the years has clearly given you a feel for the finer points of landscape appreciation. Good to see the Bartonian stratotype looking so clear!
@outfossiling@gsjphd This species always occurs like this. They were nektoplanktonic, not benthonic, and seem to have a strong elastic ligament which kept the valves together.

@JezzEllwoodGolf@lofotenlinks Brautarholt in Iceland, 1st green and hole, on EIGCA Annual Meeting last month. A little later in the evening than Ben's picture!

EIGCA President, Tim Lobb @LOBBandPARTNERS, Chair of EIGCA Sustainability Committee @gjrdubbya, and EIGCA Sustainability Consultant, Keith Duff, met with Arlette Anderson, Director, Sustainable Golf @RandA to discuss #sustainable#GolfCourseDesign opportunities.
What makes a great course?
A good course should not be defined by;
-The speed of it’s greens
- How difficult it plays
- How it’s well presented
- The length of the rough
