We're ending nearly two centuries of injustice towards some of the most vulnerable in society.
No one should be criminalised for sleeping rough. By scrapping the cruel, outdated Vagrancy Act, we're ensuring people get support and dignity - not punishment.

@clumsyoaf33 We have a few. If it’s a beach we also bring a “holiday stone” back then put it on our gravel driveway to disappear been doing it so long even our adult children do it now Also bring a shot glass & Christmas bauble so our Christmas tree becomes a memory of everywhere we’ve been

Laura Ingraham: You’re tougher with Canada than you are with some of our biggest adversaries. Why?
Trump: “Only because it’s meant to be our 51st state…One of the nastiest countries to deal with is Canada”
Go ahead, MAGA—try to defend this.
@DonnaDlm71@clairebubblepop Not sure what you mean here Donna. To want back what we had 14 years ago and has steadily been eroded is no bad thing, ļit certainly meant a better quality of life. Similarly I would agree it is certainly not immigrants to blame, rather the rich who seem to be getting richer
July 1987, Moscow, USSR — Trump, 41 years old, flies to Moscow at the invitation of Soviet Ambassador to the U.S., Yuri Dubinin.
Upon returning from Moscow, the bankrupt Trump suddenly receives loans from 16 banks and, without negotiation.

How Much More Before the U.S. Reacts? Trump is Actively Supporting War Crimes
Let’s be absolutely clear:
The U.S. decision to stop sharing intelligence with Ukraine has directly allowed Russia to advance on the front, costing Ukrainian lives and weakening their negotiating position.
Trump continues to push policies that openly benefit Putin and Russia’s war effort while abandoning Ukraine.
If he is also working to lift sanctions on Russian oil and considering sharing intelligence with Russia, he is no longer just a passive enabler—he is an active participant in war crimes.
The Real Question: When Does the U.S. React?
If a president actively works to assist an enemy committing genocide, where is the line for treason?
How long will American politicians and the justice system ignore what is blatantly obvious?
Will the international community stand by while Trump continues paving the way for Putin’s victory?
We have reached a point where this is no longer about politics—it is about a U.S. president knowingly supporting and facilitating genocide.
When is enough, enough?
@DonnaDlm71@remmy_308 I share your worry, but with Russia’s imperialistic values if we negotiate the wrong peace with Putin we risk repeating the mistakes of 1939 and what happened with Poland and Czechoslovakia and the war expanding into other EU countries.
@DonnaDlm71@remmy_308 I don’t believe Trump offered one. He postured for an opportunity to get minerals rights without paying for them. He’s a KGB asset that spouts Russian propaganda. Yes we need peace but not one that is tantamount to surrender and offers little by way of future security
Last night, something incredible finally happened. @maddow did what no other news anchor on ANY MAINSTREAM NETWORK thus far has had the courage to do: and laid out how the Trump administration is doing EVERY POSSIBLE THING to assist Vladimir Putin & Russia. The Kremlin OWNS THEM.
🚨Former KGB head Alnur Musayev states that in 1987, the USSR's 6th KGB Department, responsible for recruiting spies from capitalist businessmen, recruited 40-year-old Donald Trump, codenamed "Krasnov"
@DavidRudeforth@RachelReevesMP Furlough as well as fraud, corruption and mismanagement. All to helpline their mates pockets. Oh and currently only the higher tax band people “might” pay more under a “proposal” as there is no change to tax under the current government. Still waiting for your evidence.
@DavidRudeforth@RachelReevesMP Highest tax rate in history under the previous Government and no evidence to back the assertion and yet a government which has been in office for 7 months is strangely to blame 🤔🤣
