I'm House Health this afternoon to testify in favor of HB 2533 and HB 2534, which implement interstate licensing compacts for Occupational Therapists and Respiratory Therapists. Compacts are great for military families moving from one state to another! #ksleg

In House Veterans Committee this morning for a hearing on HB2214, regarding who can assist filing claims for veterans benefits. This promises to be a contentious one. Our agency has no position on this bill. #ksleg

In House Judiciary, which is working HB 2243, regarding military children who are Children in Need of Care. We have an amendment that clarifies roles and responsibilities and reporting. #ksleg

The Joint Committee on State Building Construction made a recommendation to adopt the agency's capital improvement plan & budget. We maintain a system of hundreds of facilities across the state, including 38 National Guard Readiness Centers (armories). #ksleg
