@EtihadHelp ..and this is not true. Emirates, Gulf Air, Qatar, etc etc allow you to change your pre-assigned seat FREE once online check-in opens. Yes American and Lowcost Airlines charge for everything, but international like Etihad.. really?!

@EtihadHelp Can u believe that Etihad Airways does NOT allow u 2 book a seat free once Online Checkin opens. They have assigned me a middle seat which they know I won't want in order 2 still get me to PAY for a seat selection. The helpdesk guy then tells me most airlines do this.
