• Near Boulder High School around 8:30 AM
• Reportedly heading in the direction of the school on 15th Street

• Blue jeans
• Brown cowboy boots
• Grey t-shirt
• Dark-colored backpack

I am seriously disappointed in the lack of customer service @lyft has been providing me this past week. I use them on a regular basis to commute. Their customer service is clearly designed to be against their drivers. It isn't set-up to accept when their system is wrong.

Officers Seek More Information About Possible Attempted Kidnapping

BOULDER, Colo. – The Boulder Police Department is looking for more information about a possible attempted kidnapping that may have occurred on Monday.

An 11-year-old child said she was walking to school around 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, when an unknown man started following her on a bicycle. As she walked on 26th Street between Meadow and Norwood avenues, the man grabbed her shoulder. The child then grabbed a tree branch and hit the man, which caused him to let go. The child then ran to school.

The child later told her mother about what happened, and she called police yesterday, Oct. 30.

The suspect is described as a man wearing all black with a mask and circular sunglasses with colored lenses. He may have been speaking Spanish.

The Boulder Police Department will have increased patrols in the area where this occurred.

As in every criminal case, these charges are an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty.
