@PWRworldwide@pete_rizzo_ Ok, tell us how much energy is used to by banks judt to heat and cool their buildings in the US alone, let alone world wide, and tell me its less wasteful
BREAKING: Bitcoin is dumping after rumors suggested the U.S. could intervene militarily in Yemen against the Houthis.
No major news outlet has confirmed this so far.
@pete_rizzo_ Changing bitcoin supply is highly unlikely. They cannot coordinate a change because the economic majority will not converge on any alternative. The 21M cap is the focal point.
Any inflation fork becomes an altcoin.
@Atlantis_Ex@pete_rizzo_ No major exchange listings, low liquidity, high volatility and a propietary consensus....no thanks! This is not bitcoin and never will be. Another shitcoin on a shit block chain.
@Vivek4real_ The OCC has not approved “crypto companies to become full national banks,” but it has opened the door for crypto firms to obtain national trust bank charters.
@pete_rizzo_ Wow, thats a false statement. Ethereum and Solona are just as vulnerable as they also rely on elliptuc curve cryptography using either ECDSA or EdDSA signatures.
@cryptorover if he truly believes quantum will break Bitcoin, then he should also abandon every digital system that uses ECDSA or similar cryptography.... aka everything lol.
@pete_rizzo_ The dollar has been transmitted electronically for decades now. Stable coins are pegged 1:1 to USD. USD is not pegged to anything. Therefore stablecoins are just a proliferation of the existing USD currency debasement. Govt regulation, control, survaillence, and debasement
@pete_rizzo_ The Clarity Act moving forward without developer protections is a mistake. This was the only provision that had any affect or benefit around bitcoin. The Clarity Act is not bullish for bitcoin folks.
