@ilovegrover The story is substantially true. However, the UAE did not have its own UAE currency in 1966. In fact, the UAE did not exist until 1971, and the UAE dirham wasn’t introduced until 1973.
If you buy gold/silver/bitcoin, and it doesn't generate income, then you will have to sell one day.
If it generates income, then that's a game changer.
@Monetary_Metals pays interest on gold and silver. Currently offering 12% silver interest on silver.
"Wen Greenland," I joked. It turns out not to be a joke!
Might Makes Right, according to Stephen Miller.
So much for the shining city on the hill. Reagan, not to mention George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, are turning in their graves.

1 Govt ownership of means of production is a central tenet of Marxism. Maduro attempted this, but govt cannot produce. Hence oil production collapsed.
2 Good thing Trump may take over Venezuelan oil. He'll make it productive again.
How does anybody believe both??
Potassium cyanide solution is not tea. Speech is not violence. Eating noodles is not cultural appropriation.
And the right to keep the fruits of your labor is not "coercion".
Indeed, the only way to take your property is by... coercion.
For 60 years, "Mustang" meant inexpensive, small car with a V8." But now it's "electric SUV."
Chevrolet said "hold my beer!" For 75 years, "Corvette" meant two-seat sports car. It's about to mean "SUV"!
Time to sell my 'Vette and buy a Suburban! 🤪
"Hey buddy, uhh, yeah, like, me and some friends just committed a felony. And conspiracy. I'm telling you but, like, don't tell nobody or, like, post it to twitter! Yeah, $75. K thx bye!"
Similar to an April Fools article I wrote years ago, though this is meant to be believed!

The issue is that it won't go down--against your liabilities.
$1M worth of bitcoin asset against $1M liability is very risky. Or even $1M of gold assets.
$1M of T Bill asset is not risky.
Whereas tenants puts landlords' interests ahead of his own, right?
The point of altruism is to judge others for not sacrificing enough. And its never enough!
The point of class warfare rhetoric goes much deeper: "the rich" are different and "we" need to take their stuff.
The age-old (well a decade or two) confusion between battery and fossil fuel, between temporary energy storage and source of energy.
Happens all the time, like when people confuse their checking account with their job! 😜

As of Monday, the March silver contract is backwardated.
This does not mean that the London market is "paper" and the "paper price" is being rejected. It means silver metal is scarce.
Silver price +10% on Friday after Christmas. I was told that The Cabal(TM) manipulates silver prices at times when trading is thin and there's little liquidity...
So is this proof of The Manipulation(TM)? Or is it only manipulation when the price drops?
Without a yield, it's just a Keynesian Beauty Contest. Each betting, based on what they estimate others will bet.
With a yield, its not about price any more. @Monetary_Metals is a game changer.
